Ford Offer Rescinded
I interviewed and received an offer from Ford, which I accepted 2 weeks ago, although I had a better offer from another company pay wise but wasn't Remote. My visa processing was initiated as well. But, after following up with the HR and immigration team, i was notified today that the offer was rescinded as they won't be able to sponsor my GC. π Ford knew from the beginning, even before the interview, that I would need work sponsorship. It's unacceptable that Ford allowed you to interview since it obviusly knew it could not sponsor your greencard.
The big three are horrible at sponsorship. STAY AWAY
I am sorry, its sad. But just an advice for future: As an international, try to find jobs which need you to go in person. Remote work is always difficult to explain and convince the lawyers at a later stage because if remote work is all what you need to do, you can do that from your home country. Why they shall hire and do GC here?

Did you already have an I-140 from previous employer ? Or would this be a first time?
