Based on you working with them or in one of them, what is the best Tier 1 supplier to join? I am currently interviewing couple of them and wanted to get feedback. Money, culture, security, benefits, anything u might think of. -Continental -Zf -Bosch -Magna -Denso #interview #auto
Aptiv/Conti for ADAS, ZF for brakes, Bosch for everything else. Can't comment on Denso or the other Tier1/OEM suppliers.
Based on my interviews i did like ZF and Continental the most. ZF/TRW was paying the most also
How is the pay at Bosch? Heard they pay less compared to OEMs
Did not like the interview with them.it was weird. They pay better than Ford though
Ford pays well for software positions
ZF is good
I liked their structure in the interview. Seems like a pretty stable company especially the livonia locations for brakes. Also their pay was high too
Do you know about the northville location ?
First. TC or GTFO. If you are a minority then think about Magna. From what I see they really do promote diversity. Magna is not certralized like others so each location/group runs differently and have very different cultures. Broad statements about Magna are hard to make because of that.
Denso is a solid company, room for growth and haven’t experienced any layoffs in the 10+ years I’ve been there. Benefits are fine but bonus compared to OEMs is lower
How abt wlb?
l have a friend at Bosch he says Bosch never really has layoffs and the benefits are quite good. Denso also has pretty much the same. l would avoid Magna as soon as there is a downturn they cut heads.
