YouTube Dislike button actually working?
Is the YouTube dislike button actually working now or is it just masking out the dislikes and has no affect on the popularity of the video? I dislike not being able to see the amount of dislikes on a video. I want to see how trash or good the video and its content actually is. If not, we need to not let people and their bad content videos rise up. #tech
YouTuber here. The dislike button does not kill a videos popularity in general - that would be too easily abused by bots. Instead, it works per individual user. If you dislike a video, YouTube will learn if you don’t like that type of content or not and will recommend it less.
I still get non stop Biden ads
We are in era of woke and DEI bs. There is no “dislike” anymore, we are supposed to like and accept every video.
It likely helps the video, because it signals user engagement, which then improves ad revenue for the content creator
So is about the creator and not its actual content. Guess I need to filter out the BS on my own! So many average Walmart people on YouTube even if they have “skill”. Most of them are average
