Hi all - Currently speaking with a team for a Business Intelligence Analyst role. Had a few questions: 1) They seem like a good company but given that they are more like a startup, how is the work life balance there? I saw quite a few glassdoor reviews which said it was good, but they are in the hyper growth phase 2) From a purely data perspective, what kind of technologies and tools do they use that could be good hands-on experience? 3) In terms of Green Card processing, are they very prompt in terms of filing an employee's GC if it's a priority to them? which immigration firm do they use? #10xgenomics #10x #genomics #tech #startup #offer

GUILTY
There are a number of highly inept & incompetent managers. Your career success depends on who you work for & how much you tolerate brown nosing, self-promotion, zero meritocracy. One team had 6 employees “depart” when a new manager joined. All 6 are women. There is no WLB emails, slack pings, meetings, all day, through the night & weekends. Entitled employees who are smart enough to leave will mass email the entire company to announce their resignation, filled with nostalgic, grandiose & narcissistic anecdotes. Its spam to me. They pay VERY, VERY WELL. Look up all the employees there, most of them come from the same schools & companies. I don’t know anything about Greencards, good luck & hope you’re making the right decision.
Have an interview scheduled with some automation team. Wish me luck! The recruiter started talking about how racist folks are in oregon! I mean..
How did it go?
