How is the culture and WLB in ServiceNow? Currently in Amazon but the WLB is declining and more pressure. Interviewing with ServiceNow (sales role), so curious to know how it is working there. #servicenow @servicenow
The experience I had with ServiceNow was that their WLB was pretty brutal and their culture pretty cutthroat. However, it is NOTHING compared to Amazon, for what that's worth.
Thanks for the insights, is there a big PIP culture or how is it cutthroat?
I never heard anything about PIP while I was there. The cutthroat I observed came from people undermining each other and scheming against each other in order to get promoted. There were a**hol*es that managed to get promoted to VP level. When I asked my colleagues how they got there, the answer was that it was a very results-oriented company. That means if you're perceived to get results, you will be promoted, no matter how toxic you are. YMMV, but that was my experience.
I used to work there. I would describe it as a large cap company with a startup feel. Less corporate formalities, close bonds with team members. Would say it was a great WLB, everyone was social and overall was awesome. However I was based out of the San Diego office so that probably makes a massive difference compared to SC.
This is great to hear! What was your role there?
Great WLB and culture from the sales/solution side of the house. No idea about the coders but you chose that lifestyle and no big name company will give you a good wlb for the money you are asking #facts
May get an offer for solution consulting role at SN, any more insight will be really helpful.. will be leaving a good job for this
Depends on team. There will be some psychopaths here and there.
Great WLB
