Overall numbers are not known yet. Some teams were severely affected with cuts upwards of 40% and some were unaffected. Severance is 5 months of pay+ 2 weeks for every year in the company.
The constant in that equation independent of number of years is determined by your title.
Was the Qualcomm Camera team also impacted?
Severance in CA is pretty decent possibly due to warn. Auto BU located in other parts of US got the short end of the stick.
Not sure on the numbers, but I've heard folks are being kept on the payroll through the end of November, I believe so their RSU's can vest on 11/20. Then their severance will begin afterwards. In the past it has been 2 months + 2 weeks for every year of service. I'm not sure about this time around though. I also heard they were going to still get their annual bonus in December like those of us remaining.
A lot of people I know at Qualcomm have been there for 15+ years. That takes their severance to end of June.
