Peaceful Protest Hasn’t Worked and Has Been Met With Aggression.
With the current downturn of the market, what is the general sentiment around ZARS/Zoox valuation going to happen in July. If the ZARS value go down, how does it affect Zoox funding? Are layoffs in the horizon? Asking since I am joining Zoox in 4 weeks. EDIT: ZARS (Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights). More about SARs ( https://www.investopedia.com/terms/s/sar.asp ) TC: 400K YOE: 11 yrs.
Yep might dip!!!!
Outsiders don't know shit, insiders wouldn't want to discuss that here. I suggest you ask your recruiter. The answer will obviously be biased but it's better than anything you'll get here
It’s not going to go down. It’s not a stock. AMZN RSUs on the other hand…
Doesn’t the valuation take into account market conditions?
Not an accountant but my understanding is they are a part of it but not a huge one. Our previous 409a was well under many market valuations so they can’t weigh that heavily. Who knows really, but I’m quite confident it won’t go down.
Is your TC 400k offered at Zoox ? what level is your offer at
Isn’t zoox owned by amazon
yep. But seems like that zoox's valuation is done by a third party at least once each year. Zoox provides its employees with something called as ZARS (Zoox stock appreciation rights) whose value depends on the said zoox valuation.
