It is the insane superiority complex of the Indians on blind. I feel like I enter an alternate reality every time I open this app. Indians here make us look so full of sh*t. Outside of that it’s just casual racism/racist jokes.
Would you prefer Indians to get back to serving slushees at 7-11 in order for you to feel superior? Or do you want Indians to be picking berries and scraping by paycheck to paycheck in order to restore equilibrium in the universe? Thank you come again sir.
Well, that's not the kind of person I want to be, acting all superior. I'm pretty humble irl. I just write comments to fight against casual racism. Because I am just done with effing racism. And I enjoy debating.
Tech industry has been racist against Indians at least since the 90s
Because if you were any good you would have built your own software empire to compete with us and china already. But instead of having a humble attitude and be grateful for the US granting you a good life , you go around Blind (and real life) bragging about how you are superior to everyone else (when it’s not true) and you taking American jobs. That and teams at with Indian directors having 90% indians don’t help the image. You are also known to fabricate bullshit to manage out non indian and bring in your crooked and mediocre friends. So the perception is that Indian devs are only okay but have a disproportionate sense of superiority and being corrupted at work
Indians don’t have a good culture for innovation. Maybe because of caste system. I blame curry.
Don’t eat our food. Stick to your goop.
I worked with Indians before and had a bit of social contact outside work. I had Indian neighbors and had nothing but positive things to say. Friendly, respectful, kept out of politics at work. Even their children were remarkably well behaved in public. The shit I see Indians post on Blind is actually making me racist against Indians. Using FMLA to dodge H1B loss, bringing unwanted and archaic Indian culture to the US and trying to judge Americans by that culture, being obsessed with prestige and status, constant gossip about why Indian men can't get women in America (hint it's not because you're short, it's that backwards culture you try to bring), the list goes on and I. I try not to judge an entire people by what I know is a very small sample, and a self selected one at that, but you are making it very hard.
Thank you for trying so hard to not be a racist.
Highly paid Indian incels do not represent India. They’re just sexually frustrated and using blind as an outlet.
I love my IRL Indian colleagues and friends. Nothing but highest respect for them. They’re educated and funny. I love to joke with them. On other hand, some of blind Indians are some of worse humanity have to offer. Constant Islamophobia, Israel bootlicking and bringing their divisive communalism to America. Reinventing nonsensical history to justify their prejudices. They lowered the reputation of India. They made me question if my IRL Indian colleagues and friends are also terrible human beings like those on Blind.
I would like to define 2 very different groups of Indians in USA. One is American born Indians and the other is India born Indians. The first group I have gotten to know are just like the rest of Americans, there's something about being born and raised here and brought through our social systems and just understand. The second group, Indians who immigrate here, there is some clashes I have seen. To start off some of it not their fault but unavoidable. It is very common in USA to hate on large groups of immigrant populations in the early and mid 1900s the immigrant groups Americans hated on were the Irish and Italians.. more modern times the Mexicans and other Latinos, not saying it's right but Indians might be facing this American way til they've settled in after a few generations. Some of my personal dislikes of Indian immigrants ranges from: How the men view women, both as lower than them and see them as sexual objects. Extreme example of this is Indian rape culture but it can be simple as staring at women for too long and talking to them the wrong way. Their national pride is confusing to Americans, most see it as a backwards and shitty place, so seeing someone proud of it instead of coming to America for better life is weird, it's like, just go back there then if you think it's so great. And yea as you mentioned the offshoring and tech space. Americans are competitive in business obviously, both at a national level and individual level. While Indians might be helping out with American industry at a national level the real clash is at the individual level, person vs person. I have seen the offshoring first hand and contributed to it. This brought about pondering if this was done on a large scale and over time , what will America look like, and what does that mean for my children? That outlook didn't look good to me and made me very angry, to the point where I daydreamed about someday someone drops a nuke on Bangalore and other cities to permanently ruin them force American companies to pull out.
Oh wow what a thought What's even more fantastic is that there's no reply to your comment even after 5 hours. Just one like. Perhaps the thought of Nuking Indian cities didn't outrage the majority of the Blind population. Impressive
If they keep siphoning off America there will be some level of backlash. It's too bad capitalism goes for the cheapest deal to make the best profits i.e. taking advantage of immigrants by locking them in h1b visas as well as offshoring the work to pay swe 1/3 the price in India even if they're not that good as a swe based in the US

Why do you think there is a bias? Could it be a fair attitude based on their behavior, just like anyone else?
There's this option in the poll. I'm checking what most people think.
Exactly! Learn something from the white America which never complains about being called dumb and lazy!
