What is comp structure and what should one expect?
Honestly look the other way. Symantec just laid off 8% of the work force to make margins look good. They trying to push teams to "devops" with little or no training. It's a mess right now. With RSUs, bonus and salary my TC is arround 150k as principal in US.

Please don't go to Symantec. The new CEO and CFO are in cost cutting mode plus we have hiring feezes in several areas. The chances of getting a good offer from Symantec or slim to none.
Just got word today there is a company wide hiring freeze now.
What if offer is already made and waiting for joining date?
They said if you have an offer no issues they not canceling existing ones but we are going into cost cutting mode. Do you have an offer?
