AWS Finance
Got an interview request from AWS Finance team. Doesn’t have a detailed jd, the placement depends on individuals interest. What the folks do over there? Does AWS Finance has Merger and acquisition functions fell under its tree? How much is the package for individual with a master degree and four years exp? Thanks.

The only finance team I've ever seen with sway on strategic biz decisions and ops is at GE. Top finance people coming out of there (I'm external to GE, so it's not just my bias bc I currently work there.)
AWS finance is awful, mostly operations grunt work. Finance at any tech firm will suck since you don't drive any actual decision making.
Agreed. AWS finance is terrible. Especially infra finance.
