Air conditioning at work
I’m more of a Scorpion than SubZero. Can’t stand low temperature. Why do they crank up (down?) the air conditioning at work? There are no servers nearby and we all work with our laptops/ a few desktops. Yet, it is so fricking cold in here and it literally affects my productivity. I think slower, I fidget a lot, I talk like I’m dying. Everyone I talk to hates it too (maybe not as much as me). Can’t escape it because the entire building is like this. So why do they keep it so chill? How can I bring it up without sounding like one of those SJW videos claiming air conditioning is sexist? Edit: Instead of how to adjust with the condition, I’d like to know more about the WHY part. What’s the purpose of keeping it chill if it’s not for the servers or the employees?

Put a sweater on and stop complaining. I mean, when it's cold outside, do you keep complaining about it let it affect your day or do you dress accordingly? Just do the same thing in this situation.
Dress won’t help with fingers. Gloves would but it would look odd. Also, i would like to know WHY it’s turned down so low. I’ve heard it’s to cool down the servers but not in this case
I find it hard to believe that your office is so cold that putting on a sweater won't warm up your body enough for fingers to not be cold

Just find that air conditioner and go all “Finish Him” on it. Problem solved.
You can use space heater in your office space.. if that is making air dry add one humidifier.. 😀
Then if it gets too hot, get an AC. If it's too humid, get a dehumidifier

I hate how cold offices are too. My fingers turn blue on the keyboard sometimes.
My colleague always says you can always put more layers but you can only take off some. Wear additional layers and get back to work.. unless ..it's Sub-Zero, then move to warmer climate.
Additional layers won’t help with fingers. Wearing gloves at work would be weird lol. Also, why is it turned so low anyway?
