It's being described as "Silicon valley's iconic fashion shoe"' since it's made of sheep's wool and pretty light and durable. Has anyone tried it on? Does it live up to the hype? I googled them and apparently they only have one store in SF open M-F until 7PM. I'll be damned if I can even try one on in person with store hours like those. Yea...... I think I'll just stick to my chucks for everyday wear and AEs for dressier matters.
You're the perfect victim for marketing.
I'd say anyone who reads NYT is too, that's how I heard of it
I saw the ads too, but I frankly don't care what "Silicon's valley iconic fashion" is, or anything frivolous like that, for that matter. Just wear something comfortable that you like.
Super comfortable, but the soles are cheap and wear off after about 4 months. The resulting lack of traction has lead me to almost bust my ass on slick surfaces a few times.
Wow. You think you would have bought new shoes after the first time.
I'll stick with my Nikes, pass.
Very nice but wont last forever. Some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.
Agree with above. Really comfortable, but not great durability. Merino wool is great though
I'm a woman - fuck your uniform. 😉 I guess I'm just too frivolous for SV with my personal style. Boo hoo.
I returned mine because the heel to toe drop feels like high heels and I prefer something flat. The wool is awesome for sneakers though.
Absolutely heinous. I would never wear these, not even at the $92 price point. I would much rather wear a cool pair of Nikes. Nike actually has some trendier casual options for women on mytheresa.com. At a higher price point, I recently bought a pair of amazing Bottega Veneta sneakers on sale for $480. A million times better aesthetically, and they're better quality (and they don't have a huge logo or anything). If you're looking for sneaker alternatives without massive logos, Loro Piana has some great stuff. Hermes has amazing sneakers for the fall. At a lower price, Hogan has nice shoes (I've only found them on italist.com in the US). Paul & Shark sneakers are great. I also always love a pair of Tigers.
Have you checked out Common Projects? $400 but a beautiful, minimalist aesthetic.
Where did u get the bottegas? I always wanted a pair
Is this an ad?
Nope, but don't mind accepting commission for it
