Recently interviewing for a FEE postion at amazon. Not sure the level the req just says FEE and a desc of 3+ year so maybe l4/l5? Main question is what should I expect for the on-site i've seen a number of mixed reviews here and there so maybe looking for an answers that has a bit more insight. This is for AWS in seattle.
The front end interview struggle is real...
Tell me about it
You can ask your recruiter what the level is. Did you have your technical phone screen already?
Yeah i'll prob reach out to him, I had the tech phone screen last week. It was pretty basic, some build x with y functionality using html/js and then some simple js question (implement a method)
Did you have to do that in CoderPad?
@stealthcooler Here's my onsite interview experience (NYC, Nov 2018) 1. Front - end design: Design something like twitter 2. Algorithm: LC medium 3. JavaScript/Front-end: Implement the new operator in javascript, general web development questions - cors, webpack, optimization techniques 4. 2 1hr behavioral rounds: based on Amazon principles Good luck!
Awesome, thats pretty solid. thanks for the info!
What was your phone screen experience like?
Guess there are no answers specifically about frontend roles, but hope this link can help you! https://www.rooftopslushie.com/search/request/amazon If you'd like to try post same questions on Rooftop Slushie, plz let me know. I have some discount codes to share!
