Amazon disability insurance

Looking for a career change, and targeting Amazon, at least initially. Saw on their website they have an exclusion for pre-existing conditions for the disability insurance. Is there a time limit on that, or is it a flat exclusion? Got dx'd with a degenerative neurological disorder a few years ago. No idea how long I have left for my career, but want to accomplish some things before I have to bail out. Probably more than 5 years left, might even make it to normal retirement age, but probably less than 15 years of working ability left. Still, need to get the benefits of the insurance when that time comes. Current TC 119k. 18 YOE (mechanical)

Careful, Amazon is not kind to people with disabilities. Of course on paper they do whatever they legally have to, but in practice you'll get managed out if you need any special accomodations. As for insurance, look into Google.

For now, I don't need any accomodations. Most companies aren't kind to people with disabilities. Even if they say they are. I'll look into Google, though my network includes Amazon but not Google, at the moment. So Amazon might be easier for breaking into FAANG and similar companies.
