Amazon leadership principles prep

I worked in mediocore companies and I have 3 YOE. But in this period of time I didnt do any exciting work to talk about. Its just that I didnt get a chance to work on any complex/interesting problems. But I am the kind of person who when given a chance will put 100% effort to learn and solve. So this is my situation. How do I handle the leadership principles. Many are suggesting to have two solid stories for each principle. In my case how do I handle.Should I make up some stories? Please help.

Wouldn't make up stories, they will ask follow up questions on details. Just pick smaller stories and that aren't exciting. Google each leadership principle with interview questions at the end. Their questions also sounded to me scripted and they don't really care if you are telling a big story or a small story about disagreement in one meeting

Thanks for the response. Will make a note of this approach.

Lol does anyone answer these BS questions from their real experience?!! And some will say stories can’t be made up coz they will ask details! Not at all hard If you think of a incident at work and modify it to fit your story, and think through the details!

These kind of answers lift up my spirits. Thanks.

Here is the secret: everyone has used the principles at one time or another. Your ability to show how you used them is what they are looking for. That shows you understand them.

You will be expected to tell the onterviewer about the story that fulfills the two contradictory LPs oer each round. Much better use your own humble story than made up exciting story.
