Amazon sde 1 expected?
I have to schedule an onsite interview with amazon for sde 1 position. The preferred location is Seattle but could be palo alto also. I would like to know how much should be compensation(including base, bonus, equity) for Seattle and palo alto? Yoe: 4years US experience and MS in computer science

If you are top of the band in Seattle you can make maybe 165. Once you hit 170 you start hitting the bottom of the SDE2 band. Since you aren’t deemed as qualified for that role, you probably won’t get that salary
105k base, 20k stocks, 10k signing bonuses.

Bonus will be around 60k for two years.
