Annual Refresher, Equity/Cash Bonus on Offer letter
Do companies state in the offer letter the target equity/cash bonus after the yearly performance review or any talk about the performance equity is omitted?

I get a new letter every year with a full comp statement for the new year. I am in sales, didn’t get the statement in previous non-sales roles.

Target equity depends on the team, region, etc. They also consider it a stronger trade secret, so they don't want it published. I think it's silly, but it is what it is.

Equity - Not even a casual reference? Even though it may be talked about during the negotiation?
