I think it had to do with a poor photo of my ugly face for so many left swipes. Is there any photographer recommendations for a nice headshot? no trolls please! Ty
I’m out of the dating scene, but if I saw a professional headshot I’d IMMEDIATELY swipe left. Maybe that’s just me.
Get a good (not Supercuts) haircut, wait 1 week. Wash and exfoliate your face daily. Run a few miles (sweat helps skin and other benefits). Wear a simple t-shirt (white, gray, navy, no logos) and have a friend with iPhone portrait mode take your pic outside in good (evening) lighting. Edit but don’t over-filter. Look at the camera, smile or laugh. Crop photo to remove bad parts of yourself or surroundings. Good luck!
What is a good haircut? Does Great Clips count?
No, dude. Come on. Look up Fellow Barber (they have locations in big cities, and you’ll get a feel for price point. Fun fact: my old barber in nyc cuts david letterman’s hair but he refuses to let her trim his wild beard lmao). You wear your hair every day, if you get a bargain-bin cut, you’ll get bargain-bin results.
Find a freelance photographer, hire for few hours. You can review their earlier work. Some of them already have experience taking photos for tinder etc.., they can give ideas as well for what will work
you cant out photo ugly, sorry boyo
Don’t use a LinkedIn-style photo for dating apps. They need to look candid.
Exactly, I am looking for recommendations of photos with good portfolios on dating apps.
Why don't you first tell about success stories with current profile pics?
I'm off dating apps and I've been happier. Try it yourself.
I fear a good headshot pic would not take you much further. Have pics with dogs or pics showing you have travelled or an expensive car in the background or your body if you are toned.
I don’t think the issue is the photos
Costco has one. $5 for a headshot with 2 copies
