I have dry eye syndrome (staring for long hours at screen).Does anyone has it? How are you dealing with it.?
I use eye drops (Oasis tears) + installed f.lux.
So does that help? Btw are you a guy?
It helps, yes. F.lux helps to reduce monitor impact, drops for when your eyes are already dry. I'm a girl.
I suggest you consult a doctor. There are a few different types of eye drops. Some don’t work depending on your case. I personally recommend Systane Ultra
Nordic Naturals fish oil Omega-3 Pro Omega 2000. Two of those a day. A bit pricey, but thank me later. It really works.
Also, the eye drops people above are addressing the symptom, not the root cause. My suggestion is about addressing the root cause. It really needs to be the exact brand that I told you about though, Nordic Naturals is the real deal. Other brands are low quality.
the 2000 is referring to vitamin D?
Work for Amazon... your eyes will always be wet
Breaks my heart to see people this way...Come to Microsoft
normally doctors would suggest taking breaks if possible. eye drops are kind of last resort for immediate relief
20-20-20 rule. Focus on something 20 ft away for 20 seconds every 20 minutes. Also, f.lux, larger font size, and good color schemes like solarized.
All this and consider blue light glasses.
ITONE eye drops (Ayurvedic)
Yeah I heard about them.Do they cure or just a temporary relief? Do you use them?If so can you share your experience using them?
I have been using them regularly for the last 5 years or so whenever I feel dry eyes. You can get them at any Indian store. For redness relief, I use Clear eyes brand though.
Night shift on a Mac is a deal changer for me. Easily can get used to slightly more yellowish colours to the point where I don't notice it.
