Apple: Getting an iPhone replacement under warranty
I’ve got one week left on my Apple care warranty - what can I report, if anything, to receive a replacement phone? (Nothing *really* in need here, just want to upgrade to full replacement in this window if possible)

Ok, first that comes to mind : A) Maybe drop it in pure alcohol while powered on and CPU busy. Water-sensitive marks may not go red, but no guarantees. B) Put some transparent glue inside charging port and claim it does not charge I like option B better. Good luck and let us know the outcome ;)

They’ll just replace your phone with a terribly shitty refurbished one covered by a 90 day warranty. Stick with what’s been working.
