Apple how did you let a kid film your goods on campus

With your culture being the way it is...how do you not notice a camera recording at the cafe an iPhone x? Also wtf a 4 year engineering veteran tells his daughter to upload it ? Lol just trying to understand this.

There’s no recording light on the iPhone. Who’s going to walk up to a child with a phone and tell her to turn that shit off. When I was there I only saw it in the main lobby where the guard next to the door might say something. He took her to the common areas. People upload videos all the time from the courtyard during beer bashes and what not. The problem is he did it on a device that had some internal software and codes visible. Yes he should have known better. I don’t think he gave a fuck. And he’s a hardware guy so I’m sure he’ll take his very valuable knowledge to the competitors, and his teammates will be down a key player. The only one that loses here is Apple.

Um she used a dslr with a boom mic attached to it and gorilla pod. Super obvious mate.

I skimmed the video, didn’t notice 🤓👍🏻 In that case, they probably thought it was something official / sanctioned.

What exactly did they lose from the video? Phone is out already.

Microsoft Bad Hombre Oct 29, 2017

Exactly, pretty stupid to fire the guy over this. If it were one trump month earlier, I might have had the energy to feel outraged.

if he lets his daughter do this, who knows what he will show or tell his daughter about in the future...

Cafeteria was mostly empty. The people who did see probably thought it was sanctioned. Don’t know how the dad remotely thought it was okay.

Probably stopped caring or was in the process of being managed out.

That’s the first think they teach you on Orientation day. I am sorry to say but he deserves to let go. Apple takes secrecy very seriously. Our motto is “Surprise and Delight” and as long as you are an employee you should respect it .
