Applying to Pinterest - never getting confirmation email?
I've been eyeing positions with Pinterest for a while now. A few months back, I applied to a position through their site and never received a confirmation email (the site tells you that you should receive a confirmation email). Now, another posting went up that I wanted to apply to. Same thing: page gives me a "thank you, check your email" notice and no email is there. Anyone else experienced this? I'm assuming my app is in a black hole now, which sucks. Even the smallest fucking companies in Silicon Valley have properly working confirmation emails for job applicants.
No getting referred does not guarantee an interview. It depends on how strong the candidate is, how strong the referral is, and whether it's a good match to the position.
I just want to know my application even made it through 😑 if I'm a poor match for the position, that sucks for me. But if my application didn't even make it? That's just annoying.
