Where at? Honestly I'd just bring it to a dealer. I've tried random shops, even ones referred to me with good reviews and they always mess something up. Last time I had a small puddle of oil because they didn't torque the bolt 🙄

I just do it myself nowadays.

    Such an intelligent question

Answer- Try my BMW mechanic he is the best.

Now thats a useless answer as you do not know where my mechanic is, because its a useless question. How can I recommend a mechanic without knowing your location 😂😂

I’d not risk a 50K car for saving 50$. Don’t be a cheap ass and do it from authorized BMW service center. It costs $79.95 where I live.

I'd not spend an extra $50, plus the extra time to go to the dealer, plus giving someone else the opportunity to mess up something I can do correctly myself. Skills have to start somewhere.

I use Autobahn Motorsport Haus in MV if you’re in the Bay Area. Otherwise try yelp.

Go to Google Maps, type: oil change, choose a location.

    You're welcome

Absolutely do not do this. Avoid chain oil change places at all costs.

Not all chains will come up...tons of garages and such will too...plus, if dude doesn't care to take his car to the dealership he obviously doesn't care about his car THAT much

  • Find a shop that specialize in your brand.

Always check if your oil is the right spec, them German likes to use their own spec like A1 / A3, etc that are not just API SN+ or Dexos. If you are not sure bring your own oil and filter, then pay for the labor.

On a side note, do you use premium/higher grade or regular grade gas for your bmw?

Go buy some ramps at Auto Zone, then get some oil and a filter and do it yourself. Takes 30 minutes tops and you don’t have to worry about some idiot changing your oil and doing it wrong.
