I was wondering if a bachelor in game development might give me a job in a Software engineering company like Google or Amazon for example? My school uses c++. We learn about algorithms like sorting, pathfinding,... Good knowledge of data structures, memory management, SQL, databases, threading,... Is this sufficient or is a Computer Science degree more likely to get you a job?
Degrees doesn't matter much, I know people with music degrees working as SDE. Have some good projects on ur resume and leetcode a lot. Referrals might help.
You are better off with a computer science degree. It will help with jobs and make you a master game developer
I'm sorry. I'm not quite used to the jargon yet. What do you mean, if I may ask?
LC means leetcode. Degree will get you interview calls, interview skills will get you the job.
