Bay area housing market

Is it a good time to buy a home? Looking at the East Bay like Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Concord.. Tired of renting in SF, dont feel good about the schools here and want my money to go further for my family.

It is time when you need a home. I don't trust the high stock market, so where to put your money

I don’t trust it either, sold most of my stock and want to put it into real estate. Which to be fair is also super inflated in the SF Bay Area.

Insta, how much stock did you sell? 100k?

Great time to buy

Great time if you plan to live somewhere for many years. The internet rates are insane.

Any suggestion for loans? I assume that’s what you meant by internet rates

Facebook public2 Dec 8, 2019

What do you mean by suggestions? Take the lowest one, if two have identical rates take the one with the largest lender credit.

Good time to buy. Prices are already corrected and interest rate is the lowest.

If you work in SF, those cities you listed are good as they have BART (train) to SF. Will make your commute manageable.

What about going with a big lender like Wells Fargo vs a credit union? Again, first time buyer and don’t know the process yet. Are there advantages to using either?

Facebook public2 Dec 10, 2019

Generally no. Both are desperate to lend so just have then compete. The exception is large banks will offer better relationship discounts in most cases.

Yes. Bay Area housing price are way to low still for what Bay Area is. Trust me
