Tried out Mint, but it sucks. What do you guys use?
YNAB for expenses and budgeting Personal Capital for investments
Do you pay the subscription fee monthly ? Worth the price ?
I still use the old version. I have tried the new version and it’s okay. I think I’d look for an alternative before paying the subscription though. Anything that uses the same methodology would work
Excel or Google sheets. Pivot chart on the expenses.
Google sheets, and my banking app has good expense tracking features. BOA. I only have to make few edits to change spend categories if something is marked under the wrong header, but those changes are infrequent and I can still track my spending in different categories over a period of time, so that’s useful. It doesn’t really stop me from exceeding my budget, but helps me track it!

How do you make sure you don't miss cash transactions?
By not doing cash withdrawals/transactions. But if I have to someday, it is recorded on the debit card statements.
