Best Indian Food near Redmond Campus

Microsoft ogEY38
Dec 12, 2018

My Indian co-workers are always going on about how good Indian food is and how there is nowhere nearby worth going to.

I would like to try some good authentic Indian food, especially spicy dishes.

Where are your favorites?

Edit: Peferably with non-vegetarian options.

Chicken 65 biryani from bawarchi. But take out only, the resturant service is bad.

I like the food there, price is also good. It’s good for takeaways only.

Indian food is only good as long as it’s home cooked. Unfortunately food in Indian restaurants is actually quite greasy and bad. I would recommend you inviting yourself over to one of your co-workers house for some authentic Indian food. Else visit London.

I'm not Indian, so my opinion may not be valid, but I really enjoy Kanishka in Redmond or Naan-n-Curry in Issaquah...

Poppy in Capitol Hill is not technically Indian, but it takes a lot of Indian inspiration and it's super good. A bit high-end (~$30/plate), but worth it on occasion.

“Indian food” is a broad term, there are restaurants which are good at either North Indian/South Indian cuisines. No single restaurant serves both cuisine best.

I think suggestions will depend on whether vegetarian or no vegetarian food.

I hate the restaurants recommended by my vegetarian friends and vice versa. I think the chefs only know how to cook one or the other.
