GCP won't give you higher TC, probably lower base, but RSUs are liquid and probably will vest monthly right after join date

Going from L5 to L6 at Airbnb is nearly impossible without the proper sponsorship, combination of projects, people to mentor, investment by leadership. Much easier to get L6 as a new hire somewhere else.
What makes you think google can match your current TC and beat it for you to move?
My motivation isn't to maximize TC on paper. Yes, I may take a minor pay cut on base salary by going to G. Going for liquid TC, upward mobility to L6, and more WLB (which is harder at L6).

New hires are actually getting higher RSUs now than when I joined 3 years ago. Bonus last year was quite generous since 20% (max) to give employees a bump due to lack of liquidity event.
