What kind of visa do you recommend for a family from Germany working in the states to stay forever? I know about L1 (internal transfer), H1B (Standard work visa) but are there other options as well? - me: 26 y.o. Support Engineer/DevOps married - wife: 25 y.o. Media Management/Designer/Social Media Manager married - kiddo: 1 y.o. :-) Thanks!
L1 and then GC in 1-2 yrs. You can stay forever on GC. Why Visa?
Technically greencard is a visa, so, it is the best one!
Any visa that lets you get a green card would be sufficient.
He is from Germany. So green card is easy to get as long as he has a job.
IF I’m getting a L1 you mean? Besides that only lottery for GC 😔
Germany is going down the shithole so I recommend moving to the USA, although this country is going down the shithole too
You didn’t mention who you and your wife are married to.
That is someone else's wife?
No visa. Play in the green card lottery
L1 and GC sounds good. Currently working for an US company in Germany but want to move over the next years. You always want something you don’t have - humans!
In Germany you have high taxes on your salary and actually you are working for all the people without a job sitting at home in front of the TV all day. This sucks.
We are applying for the GC lottery every year but hadn’t any luck so far. Hope 2019 will be our year :-)
What’s wrong with Germany? There’s a reason you don’t meet German immigrants in the Bay Area. Germany is the strongest country in the EU.
Why should there be anything wrong with Germany? 😂
Twitter answered everything BUT OP’s question. 😆
