Bombed 2 interviews this week
Had an onsite with FB on Tuesday and Amazon today. Felt like I bombed both of them. Has anyone ever felt like they’ve bombed an interview but still got the job? I know I did well on the behaviral part but on the coding part for Amazon, the first interviewer didn’t clarify what she exactly wanted and had me write a bunch of boiler plate code which I was told 20 mins in wasn’t needed so I didn’t even complete it. Just waiting in suspense now...
I felt incompetent after my FB interview and still got an offer. Hang in there!

I feel like I rock all my interviews but don’t get offers, so you’ll likely make it. Such is life. 🤷🏻♂️
Exactly this. If you think you rocked the interview, the interview rejected you. If you feel you bombed it, then you likely got it—the interviewer was digging deeper than necessary and not just being nice to make you feel good about them and the company.
I think so too. Those interviews that I thought I did well, I didn’t get. Those I thought didn’t go well I got offers.
I felt like I bombed my Amazon interview, 2 weeks ago...But received an offer...did well in BR and HM.

Didn’t have BR since this was a hiring event they had. Only HM.
