both me and my husband willing to move india (Primarily cause mom dad getting older) by 2021 Q1; We both are Sr. PM @Amazon (Seattle)from last few years. Anybody willing to share the TC, job culture, growth and quality of life? ππ» Note: dont have kids, in our late 20s
As the education system in India is poor, won't you be sacrificing your children's education if you move to India ?
we dont have kids, in our late 20s..but kid can always study wherever he/she wants!
how did they get here from india if the education system in india was that poor ? at the end it's all about u being smart and nothing to do with the education system.
Why don't you consider moving to a friendly country like Australia or Canada and bring your parents there? It costs you like 200k and they get good health care. My sister moved to Australia few years ago and I am planning too. Slowly we will get our parents. Indian diaspora is big so they don't feel alienated.
Definitely a good option! Thank you. My dad is doctor and my brother is becoming too..dad is still working and not willing to move anywhere other thab india :(
Indian education system is extremely competitive. Your kid may not be able to take it. Secondly, if your kid is not smart. India is not a great place to live. In developed countries. They can attend TAFE institutes and make decent money, and have a better standard of living.
I would really not recommend India because India has no clean air or water in metros. Traffic problems and over population.
Looks like you are planning to move because of your parents. What about your spouse's parents.
same he has the similar reasons! His mom dad cant move either to any other country!
Hey OP - Did you finally move back to India?
You guys must be making a hell LOT of money, but your user name! π
@cvshealth- PMs are beggers only, i meant beg to this team that team to launch things/data/alignment and what not! π
It's a very very difficult decision with a combined TC of 500k+. Even more difficult if you have US born kid.
