Why do bagels have holes?
They don't have holes technically, because when they're made, it's a log of dough rolled out and then made into a circle.
Where did u interview? Noah's bagels??
Lmfao!!
To OP, did you get nice payout from acquisition?
Frugality! Save some dough.
“In the past, vendors threaded the circular breads onto dowels to hawk them on street corners”
Welp there still vendors who do this. Just fyi.
To get to the other side
I didn't even know Albertsons made their own bagels.
At Albertsons, bagels don’t have holes.
The hole allows for even cooking of the dough.
They are boiled before being baked, and it is likely that it's easier to fish them out of the boiling water if they have a hole.
Cuz coffee is hotter!
