Brain teaser interview question

Why do bagels have holes?

Amazon vbsjq8q Jul 11, 2019

Cuz coffee is hotter!

IBM fkui Jul 11, 2019

They don't have holes technically, because when they're made, it's a log of dough rolled out and then made into a circle.

Symantec GoRams Jul 11, 2019

I didn't even know Albertsons made their own bagels.

Oracle not_larry Jul 11, 2019

At Albertsons, bagels don’t have holes.

Amazon 🍌is a lie Jul 11, 2019

The hole allows for even cooking of the dough.

They are boiled before being baked, and it is likely that it's easier to fish them out of the boiling water if they have a hole.
