Is there any low risk way people know of to find cars for sale that are eligible for HOV stickers? If a car was originally registered out of state, say in MA, is it possible to get CA stickers? I see EVs especially in MA are leased dirt cheap, Im guessing because they have even more incentives, so I'm guessing they can be bought for pretty cheap after. By low risk I mean there has to be a trusted for sticker eligibility, and high chances the cars are in good working shape.
Every highway in California is a parking lot during rush hour. HOV lanes don’t matter
I wouldn't say that but agree it makes no difference at times. In my case it saves maybe 15mins a day on average. There are sometimes that the main path is a parking lot and the hov lane is flying. Seen it a lot on the 880 and 87 south in evenings.
You can determine whether car is eligible for sticker based on Make/Model/Year
Only for a new car.
Sticker remains with the car for the lifetime of the car. Sticker is transfered to new owner for used cars. So you can still determine it by Make/Model/Year.
