Cadence pay offer at 8 experience in India !
Hi Guys, Recently got an offer from cadence india. They are offering 25 lpa at 8 year of experience which is 20% above of what I was getting in oracle. Not certain if this is the good offer to join. Need your advice guys. Thanks
Servicenow can give around 65lpa CTC.

People with 3-4 years experience make that much. You need to get competing offers.

Guys I need numbers so that I can renegotiate the offer, I haven't said yes for the offer yet so renegotiation is still there in the bucket
Get offer from with other companies also, you are underpaid for your yoe.
Not sure what Cadence is, but you sure were earning peanuts at Oracle.
It pays low as compared to the current market. Definitely in bangalore. As their main base is in noida the HR/compensation committee of the company are under an illusion that people will flock when they hear about a vacancy in their firm. It is better to bargain using another company as referral.
Old post but sharing my exp for someone new landing on this post. Your TC will fall into correct range automatically and you will also get stocks if you join at correct level. Be stubborn on this part. You should get T3 for 5-8 YOE, T4 FOR 8-12 and T5 for 12-16. Based on my experience they stick madly to salary range associated with each band. If you don't ask for level matching your YOE, you are taking a low ball offer. Internal promotion don't give stocks at T3 T4 except in exceptional cases.
25 LPA for 8 years seems a little low ball. Flipkart can easily give 40 plus. What's your role?
It's an IC role and designation offered is senior member of technical staff which is same as I am having here in oracle
