Hi I got a call from Google recruiter again. I had an onsite interview during Feb-2019 and the recruiter said the feedback was very close last time. I'm pretty sure, will be able to make it this time. Heard alot about team matching at Google. So, want to be sure this time, that I would be able to make through team matching. Want to have my resume checked by Googlers/Ex-Googlers :) The recruiter asked for my current CV. Would anyone be interested? Thanks in advance :)
OP - Was it a reject in a Feb? If it’s so, don’t they have a cool off period? I thought it was 12 months.
Yeah, I heard that too. The least being 6 months. Recruiter mentioned multiple times, I was very close, I guess they wanted to give a try and its for a different location this time. My theory is the roles got filled in the previous location. That could be a reason, not sure though
Haha no fking way you can be sure to "make it this time". I made it in here but I can't guarantee I will make it again because of high false negatives
Yeah, that's there. But, I'm confident about preparation atleast :p
Make sure they're interviewing you for the same ladder. People I know have been reinterviewed soon after their onsite but for lower paying ladders (SWE to Technical solutions consultant etc.)
Yeah. They are interviewing for a different location but same role.
Thanks for the amazing responses :)
I’ve you’ve already got a call them resume is meaningless and you should focus on interview performance
Ditto. I even asked if referrals would make a difference 2nd time around. Recruiter said no just interview performance.
How is the team matching done, based on my profile? The recruiter asked for my updated CV
