Civil Engineer jobs at Google Cloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure?

Can anyone please tell me if companies like Google, Amazon or Microsoft are still looking to hire Civil engineers to design/build their cloud buildings?

I know we hire mechanical engineers, but never heard of civil.

You should look for DC builders, not so much the operators. https://www.bdcnetwork.com/top-40-data-center-construction-firms

Talk to Vulcan, Paul Allen's construction company. Google's new Seattle office is built by them along with half of the other constructions in Seattle.

May be there must be some data center cooling scientist position that will require a Civil but I haven't seen an opening for it on our careers page :)

Yeah they froze hiring for a while because it rained unexpectedly on majority west coast data centers and cloud moved to a location much farther than available tolerance. Currently they are working on stabilizing so effective migration ratio is within bearable threshold. Once that's achieved, new designs would be required for stable infra for cloud and hence newer openings. Of course this does not apply to on premise cloud which still does hire civil engineers on regular basis
