I know who you are and you’re dumb AND you’re not actually in engineering.

That's weird. Pretty sure I am in engineering. But I'm not surprised someone who would come up with such presumptuously terrible poll options would also falsely presume to know who someone is on Blind too. Nice work!

    Your poll sucks.

Climate change is real, but we have no idea on the full impact yet.

I’m not scared, but I do think about it frequently. I don’t think we’re “fucked” and I did have kids. So none of your options fit. Of course I care about poor people.

Why are we not fucked? Because we make a lot of money. We can easily adapt.

If you want to do something, don’t buy the cheapest possible shit- buy stuff that’s made sustainably. Buy an electric car. Donate your extra money to organizations doing stuff about climate change. Start a startup focused on improving living situations for the poor, or reducing pollution, etc.

Stop sitting on your hands whining that there’s nothing to be done, it makes you sound like a b****

Full impact? We need to see it happen first or somethin?

    • New / Engcato
No, just we don’t know how bad it will get because we don’t know what will happen in the next 5-10 years. We could have a greener president in a few years, etc. I didn’t say don’t do anything, if you read you’ll see I said the opposite of that.

If you’re not scared you’re an idiot. No idea on full impact? What’s your timescale? Yeah we don’t know if it’s really fucked in 30 years, extremely fucked or 95% of population dies fucked in 100 years. We really don’t know.

And your dumb questions don’t change that fact. Your money answer means you are not worried about yourself, but also aware and don’t really care that hundreds of millions of people will be displaced, hungry, and in deep shit within 20 years.

And spare me your sanctimonious list. You have no idea what I do. Go make your own poll if you don’t like these options.

It’s not “Faux” news. It’s friggin Washington Post. It is not saying that climate change is not happening. It is merely reporting researchers exaggerated their numbers.

Also I didn’t know whales live forever?

I don’t think climate change is caused by human beings. Because there is never a rigorous enough proving. All we have now are just coincidence from observations. Maybe the weather is changing no matter we exist or not, neither can we accelerate/decelerate it.

Your position is a result of a fiercely peddled lie. Vast consensus among scientists on this subject
