I went onsite at fb exactly 6 months back and got rejected without any feedback. Today i got an email from fb recruiter saying few of hiring managers are interested for a coffee chat. Is that a norm or should I think my feedback was good besides minor issues and should consider this? Coz fb hiring is generic and hiring managers are decided after bootcamp I guess TIA
I had a similar email but I turned down on that
Why ?
Already accepted Apple offer. Plus fb job would be shitty. Well other than the $$.
50% engineers wanna leave in 3 years. they need to hire more.
Just go and talk with them. What is the confusion to talk ?
I'll take a carmel latte with extra foam -- not too hot plz.
Something similar happened to me but 3 weeks after they rejected me. I did not take the trip to Menlo Park, maybe next time.
Are you a specialist in something? They may have a preallocated role in mind
No...and i just accepted an offer..but still thinking to say yes and know more abt the opportunity
What’s the offer?
