Cost to paint interior of house?
We recently bought a home in bay area and are planning to paint it but not sure about the costs. Its a 3 bedroom 2 bath 1200 sqft home. Any recommendations on contractors? How much does it cost? Any suggestions? Few contractors quoted between $6000-9000. Is it really that expensive?

Very high , do it on your own..... Even if it's 90% of what they would do , you will appreciate it more plus save some $$. You have time , take it easy and enjoy home ownership.

Have you tried to find ones from Nextdoor? Good and affordable guys don't run websites or Yelp pages.
We painted two rooms, and one wall in living room, some touch ups cost us $1800

Benjamin Moore's Aura is better than the top of the line paint from Sherwin. I tried both and the cleaning ability +coverage+color +finish on Benjamin was really good. Don't be afraid to make mistakes. It's just paint.

Thats an option i am considering. But not sure of the costs if I hire professionals and is it worth it.
They will cost significantly more, take longer, and do a significantly worse job. Paint is easy and fun. If you want to pay jump in yelp and message 5 to 10 highly rated companies to get quotes. Paying a neighbor kid is good too if you aren't in a rush
