Daughters Christmas gift!
Hey everyone. So it's that time of year and us parents need to start thinking about what we should get our little bundles of joy for Christmas. My daughter is 12 years old and smart as all heck. One day I think she'll make her mom and I proud and join faang. In light of that I was thinking I should get her a leetcode premium account for Christmas. I wanted to get the input of the blind community. What do you all think should I get my 12 year old a leetcode premium account if not what do you suggest instead. Let me know. Thanks everyone. For yourself a first class vasectomy would be a good start. For the daughter, leet code would be a let down, it’s more a gift for yourself and securing your future. Give her something she wants. Ask the mum. You seem clueless but mums are usually tuned in.

I have a wicked smart daughter about the age of yours and I got her a programmable robot for the holidays: https://www.amazon.com/Yahboom-Smart-Robot-Kids-Micro/dp/B07FKYFD4W She’s doing robotics this year and has already mastered all visual programming languages like scratch. This one lets you flash it’s firmware with python code. Microsoft and a few others came up with interfaces that make it easier to code with the BBC microbit chip. Last year we got her Cozmo and it’s visual programming language was nice, let you do things like facial recognition, but when I downloaded the Python SDK for it, programming would be more like I do at work than what she would consider fun. Kids need to learn programming the way kids learn most things: play. Make it interesting, cool and real. PM me if you want to talk.
