Never really understood how FB is a monopoly since we have small market share in advertising. It’s just the sentiment people feel they don’t have a choice but it’s not true.
Competitive markets don’t support the profit margins that Facebook has. Facebook may not have a monopoly, but it has a duopoly with Google. If the companies were competing the profit margins would be in the single digits.
