I rarely sweat, so there's no residue left behind to clean...
Do you apply the same logic for toilet seat covers?
Just towel it off. No wet wipe. I expect to shower afterwards anyways
No, as you don't wipe a g-bike
Who cares. If you want it clean, youโll wipe it down before you use it. If you donโt care, then youโll just use it. Gyms probably have more bacteria than an airplane floating around. Just use it as an opportunity to strengthen your immune system while getting toned and building muscle. ๐ช
๐ฏ wipe it at the beginning if you care. Paying it forward doesn't work at the gym.
I bended a couple of dudes who were leaving without wiping equipments. Seems like we are not attending at same gym.
Yes, always set an example. Do on to others as you would want them to do onto you.
But I don't care if others wipe down the equipment. The only exception is, of course, if they leave behind a puddle of sweat.
You answered your own question, You do care enough if it affects you. Why be inconsiderate other times? You may think you don't sweat, but others that observe your lack of action but don't go over to the equipment you used will not know that. All they see is somebody that moves around and doesn't wipe down. What is that person observing you is an interviewer at you next job interview?
Why does this person have to watch me from afar? If they approach the equipment, then they would see it's still clean and free of sweat. You're right that I do try to be considerate. That's why I was asking. If this is important to society at large, and there's a reason to do it, I will. Thanks for your feedback. I'll try the dry towel wipe down, as suggested earlier.
Yes, you do.
