Does Tesla rely heavily on referrals for hiring?
I know many companies rely almost solely on referrals and very few resumes make it through the online application process. How is it at Tesla? I have coop experience at Toyota and GM and will be graduating in May with my Masters in InfoSci from Cornell. Really curious about my options at Tesla.

Tesla sources from a variety of places. I agree that you should seek out a recruiter and should definitely have an answer about why you want to work at Tesla and how you will add value to the company.

Message the recruiter with the position you're interested in, as well your resume and some achievements you're really proud of which align to the role. They will surely reply! All the best

Don't tell them check my profile to see if I'm a for. Tell them the position you're interested in and attach your resume and add a line about passion for Tesla and the mission.
