That's a terrible tc for a senior swe especially considering the equity is worthless. What's her base? Add in their curent bullshit valuation and another down round that's definitely coming...yeah...

Would you care to explain why the valuation is bullshit and there is a downround coming? It is easy to make tall claims without any reasoning or data to support it.

Please be mindful of your language^. It’s important to be humble. This person may well be a current customer or a future customer. Even otherwise, let’s be respectful. They clearly don’t have enough info as us.

3 years for senior is ridiculous. Undergrad or masters?

But people at your company feel "senior" right out of college dhit33!! Your question is irony.

@monomo for a guy who works at New, you shit on Doordash alot. Feel free to interview again.. only after you’re confident you can do better than a new grad. I don’t agree with it either, but title inflation is only natural with a young company. It’s also insignificant compared to how smart the engineers actually are here.

Oh well, why will I interview again when I rejected your stupid offer? It felt like a kindergarten. Your so called engineers pretended a LOT when I interviewed there. It's not the company but the attitude of your idiot young kids that pissed me off. What would I really gain by going to such a place? Lol, tired of teaching kids over and over, really.

Guess what happened when I actually asked them some questions, they "look around, roll eyes, and talk some nonsense".
You idiotic pretentious bastards didn't even understand how docker works, DFS, permutations and combinations.
Your so called new grads at your company aren't even fit to clean my toilets. If you think they're smart you must really suck balls compared to them.

Keep fixing your bugs. The other day we tried group ordering and it had so many issues. So it's good grunt work for fools like you.

I don't use my company's email on Blind. Keep in mind that every great company was a "New" at some point. The company I'm building is New too. I will make sure to not hire all you idiots, there is a huge problem with your mindset.

Lol u mad bro? Stop pretending like you got an offer. Did you just bring up docker, DFS as an example? Looks like you have a lot to learn; good luck at your junior role in New! Maybe you can get an offer somewhere better.

They're just examples out of the many many things you couldn't understand.

Why do I even need to pretend?
Since when is turning down offers called pretense?
You need to keep an ear open to listen. Again the same egoistic behavior lol.
If you think I'm junior you're equivalent to a 2 year old kid. Man, it's kids again. I won't go hard on you, otherwise you will feel you got abused.
When you feel you're experienced and skilled enough, DON'T apply for a job at my company. I will call you when the time is ripe, that is when the bathrooms here need some cleaning.

Doordash steals the tips we give to their couriers, don't work for them.

We don't steal tips. Please understand the model before throwing accusations. Our blogs have the details of our Dasher pay model, which btw has gone through rigorous testing before it was deployed.

You know something is fishy when you have to write a blog on “payment model”. Please open source the secret sauce.

Which location? 240k for the experience sounds high, but for the role it sounds quite low.
