I need an Employment Verification Letter from Infosys (my former employer) for my PR process. Just trying my luck here to get any pointers from ex-Infoscions on the process to obtain it. I will be super thankful if anyone here can share their experience!
I just contacted my Tech Lead and he was kind enough to provide one for me but not on Infosys stationary, so not on official letterhead just on a blank paper. But it seems it was okay, I have an approved l-140.
Thanks a lot for the info. Will try the same approach!
Does USCIS consider Infosys experience as ‘valid’ experience?
Send an email to US_empverification@infosys.com They should be able to provide you. It may have a month long wait, but it works.
Awesome!! Yes, I would expect thaf with Infy :P Its amazing that we at least get it at the end!
Drop a mail to infosys hr. They have a team that would give you EVL from the company, but they do it only if you are applying for green card. So, they will give you a document that you need to get signed from your current employer. This would say that you need evl for gc process. You also need to give Infosys a reference of any previous manager/colleague who worked with you during your tenure. Infosys will then contact this former colleague, ask him/her to write a letter mentioning the skills/project you worked on, print it on company letterhead and send it back to you.
Thanks much!! Seems like a process but glad to hear that it works!!
I think its the same email address provided by “Really?” above.
You must write to Referenceletters@infosys.com. You will receive a template (word doc), which you will have to fill the details such as start and end date of employment, experience etc. When you respond to the email with updated word doc, you will have to mention the name of your latest manager who can validate and approve the document. Once the manager approves, you will get the Experience letter from the above email id.
You wont be able to get the employement verification letter , use joining and departure document along with a signed copy from your previous manager . No need to be on infy letter head.
Oh cool, thanks a lot!!
