I am Interviewing for an engineering position at EY and have already cleared an initial fully technical phone screen. I have received invites for 3 upcoming video interviews (via HireVue, 45min - manager, 30min- manager, 30min - partner). Any pointers for prep and what to expect?
Use headphones, wear appropriate attire as if you were interviewing in person. Practice with a friend looking at the camera, not the screen when you're talking. It's like talking on the phone. Make sure that your camera is head height and you aren't back lit. Make sure you have a plain background. Or at least something not distracting. In lieu of a handshake, smile and a big nod. And my last tip, if you have to work out any math or design problems, use plain paper and a sharpie and you can hold it up to the camera backwards and it will look correct! Good luck!
Thank you! This is really helpful. Any idea on the content of the interviews?
Nope, those are just general tips for any video interview.
Oooo AI screening
Its not the ones where you record answers. The managers and partner will also be joining as per the invite
