Experience Design Hourly Rate / Contract / Bay Area
What are people paying/getting as their hourly contract rate for Experience Design (UX/UI) in the Bay area? Interested in both junior, mid, senior and director level compensation.
For junior in Bay Area it’s normally around ~75/hr. For senior it’s at around ~120/hr. Depends on the work you’re doing and who’s paying you though. Too many other factors that can get involved.
Seems low. Is it because Bay Area is so competitive with capable designers?
