Feel free to discuss; Apparently... Facebook would like to interview me again for this one role. I'm shocked... The interviewer cut me off on all 8 questions he asked me. Interjecting; "Yeah yeah yeah, I GET IT! (I kept my answers short, professional, and stayed on subject.) Later, I find out this is their 'extreme interviewing' approach. Guess it's a good thing I didn't tell him off and hang up. 😂
I once underwent the same at one company. Interviewer wouldn’t let me get a word in after asking me questions. I laughed out loud at one point. He turned out to be a fucking psychopath.
Lol. MFGA.
Nice of them to go out of their way to give you such a massive red flag.
"Extreme interviewing" huh... never heard of it. Sounds like a shitty experience. Please let your recruiter know so they can take that interviewer out of the rotation.
Sounds like the recruiter was an Extreme Douchebag.
Facebook manager, actual FT PERM employee. & Yeah, probably.
FWIW, this whole story sounds made up....
The term is actually a thing. It used to be the beloved interview tactic of shitty Russian companies. I wish I were making this up
Smells too much like “Extreme Vetting” to me. I still smell a rat...
When I read "Extreme interviewing" in the title I thought of casting couch. What a utter disappointment!
No such thing at FB. Interview process here is straightforward, at least for eng and PM.
Found the Blind Damage Control department
It's possible the interviewer was a dick. But there's no such thing as "Extreme interviewing".
That’s stupid.theres a good chance the interviewer was an asshole, people complained and to save face you were told it’s an “approach”. What exactly would they infer from this sort of situation? That the candidate is a masochist?
😂 I can only assume it has to do with gauging the talents customer service endurance.
