Gofundme vs walmart labs vs godaddy
How is Gofundme doing these days? I have a couple of offers to evaluate. Bay area Gofundme 175k +10k units of stock vs Hoboken, NJ Walmart Labs 155k + 15% bonus + $16k stocks per year vs Seattle GoDaddy 140k + 10% bonus + $40k stocks over 3 yrs Yoe : 5 yrs Tc : 118k
I would say GoDaddy

Is it for sde2 or senior? What’s is stock grant of Walmart ? Is it for 4 years?
Senior for gofundme, sde 3 for jet, sde 2 for godaddy
And not sure about stock grant as haven’t got exact numbers yet
If you’re young, single godaddy-might be able to move around and make a lot more in a few years at another Seattle firm. Get some roommates in the meantime and save $$$. if you have family Walmart isn’t bad $155k in Hoboken is like making $250k in Bay Area according to COL calculator

Gofundme comp looks higher. Bay area still has more jumping opportunity than Seattle (plus our weather is better) Also GD doesn't give good raises. I've been rated as exceptional on all my perf reviews yet I never got a raise over 2%
GoDaddy offer is by far the highest if you consider cost of living.
Don't go to Walmart Labs that place is currently in crisis and you can search for it on blind. Go for Seattle and Bay area for opportunities and Seattle a good choice considering lower cost compared to bay.

Hoboken is in a much better situation. It depends a lot on the team you join. Some of us are doing really well. 😉

I think GoFundMe is interesting considering it actually funds a big % of ppls health care (can’t remember the source). So there’s room to grow. Is there a signing bonus or annual Bonus target?
