Legacy AOLer, not loving the direction of Oath. I'd love to work for a company doing primarily open source work. Curious to know what experiences people have, what the culture is like, and what kind of interview process are in place at companies like Canonical, Mozilla, ect.

Github, gitlab, Hortonworks are good open source. I’m happy with the culture at Hortonworks.
I'm pretty happy at Mozilla. The interview process is pretty standard. 2 to 3 phone screens, one day onsite. Questions tend not to be pure Leetcode (but expect one or two) and more tailored to the position you're applying for.
Disagreed. Only core team in Mountain View is happy. Other than that, lots of firing. Check out Arewereorgyet website.
